Other links that are related to my blog:
iamfashion.blogspot.com- I chose this link because I could really connect to the author's taste in clothing. Especially the boots, and how she's into designer. She's also into Diane Von Furstenburg, one of my favorite designers. The author of this blog applies trends in her own way and comes out with something creative.
bloomingdales.com- omg comon thats a given in a blog about fashion. This store includes designer names, and also has many sale items, for those who aren't willing to splurge. The people that work there are extremely nice and helpful, unlike the snobs at Saks or Bergdorfs. In the site, it also contains outfits that you can match when you don't know what to wear something with what. It includes clothing for men, women, kids, and old people. The store also includes beauty cosmetics as well as handbags, shoes, perfume, and accesories. Bloomies credit card is also available :)
http://www.askmen.com/fashion/trends/13_fashion_men.html - This website is a blog that relates to mens trendy styles as well as hairstyles and a lot of hot babes. It talks about the many things that seem attractive on a guy...hairstyles (yes, without the baseball cap) as well as skinny jeans, men's colognes, jackets, and even some halloween costumes. And theres like, a whole list of blogs on watches. Cuz men are obsessed with watches.
alwaysurban.com- I really like this website because it has a lot of urban clothing i see a lot of young people wearing these days. It has tees, tops, hoodies, sweatshirts and accessories for men and women. It's mostly like streetwear for young adults and teenagers. There are a lot of newly rising streetwear brands, nothing designer, and the prices are not expensive at all! There's even a sale :)
http://www.vintageous.com/- For those vintage freaks out there- this is your site. Hey, im a vintage lover myself. I love how vintage has that old twist to it that makes it a hot item to have on, whether its a tee or a handbag, theres something about vintage that makes it super cute and chic. Theres vintage dresses for every occasion, a cocktail party or just a party, as well as vintage accessories and even gift certificates!
officialkourtneyk.celebuzz.com/tag/kourtney-kardashian-fashion- I like kourtney only because of her louboutin pumps. But yes, she does have good taste in fashion, and she shares all her outfits on her blog website.
jacvanek.com- the sickk rubber wristband bracelets that I'm obsessed with. The money goes to a good cause. And they look madd cool on your wrists. She also comes out with accessories and tshirts for men and women. Gotta have the wristbands.

JAC VANEK bracelets are the sh*tt
yo yo yoooo im like totally obsessed with these bracelets...Jac Vanek bracelets! Only the cool girls wear em. Naa, just kidding. They're these rubber wristbands that have phrases on them with big bold letters. An example you've probably seen around a lot is the "i love boobies" wristband, which she actully contributed to breast cancer awareness. The one I have says "JUST BREATHE", which is a constant reminder for me to calm down and breathe whenever I panic. There are many other phrases such as "LEGIT", "BADASS", "CARPE DIEM", "BESTIE", as well as many others. Each bracelet costs like 10 dollars and a pair for 20. Most of her money goes to cancer patients. these bracelets are like, legit, the shit. Check out her website: jacvanek.com.

so whats the deal with SJU hoodies?
For the past 2 months or so that I've been attending St. John's University, all I see people wearing is their red St.John's hoody that was distributed during orientation. Some people wear that every single day, and what occurs to me is that, do they not have anything else to wear??
I understand and agree with the fact that one shouldn't get all dressed up for school, well because it is only school and its not like they're going out, but the matter is that at least try not to look like you just woke up and decided to throw on the same red piece and a pair of denims. I understand its a cozy item, cozy enough to wear as a pajama, and perhaps sometime I might consider wearing it once to school, but for every single day?? Do the kids that wear it have THAT much school spirit? I think not.
Some people even go hard and go all out for school. Hmm...I don't think wearing 3 inch heels to philosophy will get you to understand the teachings of Socrates, unless you're deciding to throw the heel at your professor.
But back to my point, and no offense to those who flash their SJU hoodies with pride, it is merely out of respect to those around you, and respect to the public, that one actually wears something decent to the eye. And I'm not saying go all out- oh no! But a white tee, jeans, and sneakers wouldn't hurt. It's kind of like what Jerry Seinfeld was telling George when he wore sweatpants..it's like telling the world I don't care about you or myself, and I'm showing it by not changing clothes in the morning. And same goes with the hoodies.

OMG! THIS lady is so cool
So I was going through Lucky magazine when I came across a lady named Erica whose introducing her blog. I immediatley searched it and found it to be extremely creative and deff worth looking in to. What she does is she sees something she likes, say..on the runway or designer or something she spotted on the street, and she creates the same ideas onto her outfits. She cuts, sews, and glues fabric to make the same designs in her own chic way. She even made her own book!
Check it out, girls (and guys?):
psimadethis.com
So she says:
"Boxy silhouette bags are making a huge comeback for Fall/Winter 2010. Louis Vuitton is bringing the sexy lady back, while Ralph Lauren continues to knock us out with versions of his famously luxe Ricky bag (yes! Named for RL’s knock-out wifey)."
hmm....I deff agree with Erica, Louis Vuitton did mak a huge comeback this year, but it is very expensive. I like how she shows a way of making your own boxy silhouette bag using a lunchbox! This lady is sick.
"P.S.- NEVER SAY NEVER TO NEON! I love infusing bright and funky highlighter shades into my world"
noo wayyyy....I deff cannot stand neon bright colors and such...especially for fall/winter. I like to stick to solid hues, mainly dark ones. I dont think neon colors really go well with femininity, unless your style is an all out funky edgy one. But other than that, I wouldn't wanna stand out like fireworks. Sorry Erica, got a disagree with you on that one..
omgg but this here is my favorite, she made charms! and they look really hot attached to a satchel or a hobo...hmm think i might do that..

Burberryyy is IN!
SO have you guys noticed that Burberry is in this winter? Many ladies are wearing Burberry jackets with the cuffed sleeve to expose the checkered designer print. They come in different colors, and theyre very warm inside. Also, burberry scarves are in, and theyre so cute and cozy! Made of 100% cashmere, they come for men and women, in cream checkered print or the pink print. For those rainy days, many different ladies have been spotted rocking the burberry rainboots, which come in different lengths over the calves. My friend Kristina recommends them, saying "they're the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn, and I've worn them all".

Burberry is often wore to formal events or interviews that require proper clothing. If you guys are willing to splurge on one item, though, the trench would be the perfect choice. It is appropriate for an event, an interview, or just casually going to work or school.
But what about the money...would you splurge on an item like this?
