She gives examples in her blogs, whether it may be from an outside source or events that actually occurred in her life. Her blogs talk about whether one should pursue distant relationships, whether one would choose friends over boyfriends, etc. I think, that if one has great taste in fashion, they should also have a great taste in friends... :)

http://technation311.blogspot.com/ - Although this has nothing to do whatsoever with fashion, Nathan's blog is helpful and is eye catchy to the tech freaks out there. I'm not a tech person myself, but its very interesting and funny to watch how the technology world and the fashion world are growing and competing with one another.  And its in the world of arts and class, so you know you're the shit when your clad in designer holding an itouch :p

Runways always include the latest hip moving beats, and wherever you go, which ever store you're at, music is always blasting. I also think, for this topic as well, that whoever has a great taste in fashion has great taste in music as well, and people tend to dress to the type of music they mainly listen to.
